Equipped with numerical line differential protection relays , this configuration is the optimal solution for important tie lines, short cable lines and ring network lines that require full-line instantaneous tripping. The relays exchange real-time current vector data between two ends of the line via dedicated optical fiber channels, accurately identifying internal and external faults based on current differential principles.
It realizes zero-delay full-line tripping for internal faults and reliable locking for external faults, completely avoiding protection mismatch and delayed action. It supports CT saturation detection, phase difference compensation and broken fiber alarm, with outstanding selectivity and speed, effectively preventing line short circuit and equipment burnout faults.

Distance Protection Configuration (For Conventional & Long Lines)

Configured with transmission line protection distance relays, it adapts to long-distance overhead transmission lines and conventional distribution lines. By real-time monitoring of line impedance changes, it accurately judges fault locations and realizes segmented protection (Zone 1/2/3).
Relays for transmission line protection are equipped with 3-stage overcurrent, zero-sequence, overload and auto-reclosing functions to handle phase short, earth and overload faults. Flexible settings and wide environmental adaptability fit most standard distribution projects.
