General Technical Data
Control Circuit Power Supply
- DC 220 V / AC 220 V (specify when ordering)
Output contacts
- In a DC circuit with a voltage not exceeding 250 V, a current not exceeding 0.5 A, and a time constant of 5 ± 0.75 ms, the device’s output contacts have a breaking capacity of 50 W, and the continuous current rating does not exceed 5 A.
Trip and Close Currents
- 0.5–5 A (specify when ordering)
Output contacts
- In a DC circuit with a voltage not exceeding 250 V, a current not exceeding 0.5 A, and a time constant of 5 ± 0.75 ms, the device’s output contacts have a breaking capacity of 50 W and a maximum allowable make current of 5 A.
- In AC circuits with a voltage not exceeding 250 V, the device’s input contacts have a breaking capacity of 50 W and a maximum allowable make current of 5 A.
Environmental Conditions
Ambient temperature
- Operating conditions: –20°C to +70°C, relative humidity 5% to 95% (no condensation or freezing inside the unit)
- Storage: –30°C to +80°C. When no excitation is applied at the extreme temperature limits, the device shall not undergo irreversible changes, and it shall function normally once the temperature returns to normal. Packaged devices shall be stored at an atmospheric pressure of 80–110 kPa (equivalent to an altitude of 2 km or less) and a relative humidity of no more than 85%.
- Transportation: -25°C to +70°C, relative humidity not exceeding 85%;
Other requirements
- The air around the equipment must not contain any acidic, alkaline, corrosive, or explosive substances.

FAQ
Q:Is non-electrical protection the primary protection or the backup protection for a transformer?
A:Generally speaking, non-current-based protection and transformer differential protection are both core forms of protection for transformers and classified as main transformer protection.
Q:What should be done after a non-electrical protection trip on a transformer?
A:First, check the alarm details triggered by the non-electrical protection trip under power transformer protection, then determine the inspection direction; since such trips are generally caused by internal faults of the transformer, they must be treated with great caution.
