ASZ-442H Digital Automatic Source Transfer Device

The ASZ-442 digital automatic transfer switch device can automatically switch to the standby power supply after the working power supply fails or is disconnected, realizing incoming line mutual switching or bus section switch closing to complete the automatic power transfer function.

1.3.1 Protection Functions

  • Bus section automatic transfer switch (bus tie BZT) function and automatic restoration function;
  • Composite voltage startup overcurrent protection function;
  • Charging protection function;
  • Incoming line automatic transfer switch (mutual transfer) function and mutual transfer automatic restoration function;
  • Overload protection function;
  • PT wire break monitoring function.

1.3.2 Communication Functions

  • The device provides three communication modes: RS-485, CANBUS and electrical Ethernet (to be specified when ordering);
  • Uploads real-time data including measured data, fault recorder data, faults, alarm signals, and all protection settings, configurations and coefficients; supports remote online setting modification and protection enabling/disabling;
  • Receives commands from superior equipment, including remote control, system time synchronization, setting adjustment and data read/write commands.

1.3.3 Operation Box Functions

  • The device integrates an operation box with anti-trip function;
  • The switching current of the operation circuit is self-adaptive.

1.3.4 Device Self-test Function

  • Automatically detects faults such as RAM, ROM, A/D abnormalities and power loss;
  • Automatically checks parameters including settings, configurations and coefficients.

1.3.5 Event Recording & Fault Wave Recording

  • Records events including protection operations and device abnormal faults;
  • Records the type, operating time and operating parameters of protection events;
  • Fault wave recording includes operation time, fault type and effective values before and after startup;
  • Wave recording length: 2 cycles before fault and 4 cycles after fault for each channel;
  • SOE data can be saved for 48 groups and fault reports for 16 groups with power-off retention.

1.3.6 Monitoring Functions

  • Measures analog values including current, voltage and frequency;
  • Collects position signals and other digital signals such as circuit breaker, energy storage, isolating switch, remote/local status;
  • Controls circuit breaker opening and closing.

1.3.7 Display Function

  • Equipped with Chinese character LCD, status indicators and keyboard operation on the panel;
  • Supports measurement monitoring, online setting modification and protection enabling/disabling;
  • Fault indicators can be reset via local key or remote command.

  • DC circuit per protection module: ≤ 8W;
  • AC voltage circuit: ≤ 0.5VA per phase;
  • AC current circuit: ≤ 0.5VA per phase.

2.5 Output Contacts

  • DC circuit (≤ 250V, ≤ 0.5A, time constant 5±0.75ms): breaking capacity 50W, allowable continuous current ≤ 5A;
  • AC circuit (≤ 250V): breaking capacity 50VA, allowable continuous current ≤ 5A.
